I am privileged to have followed my passion throughout my career. I always chose to focus on my craft rather than the limelight.
I paused my technology leadership consulting career to address the reoccurring pattern of software technology failures that I was witnessing. The problem pattern was the same. But my clients were from diverse industries, each believing the problem was uniquely theirs.
This started my journey towards Sustainable Circular Software Technology with SAM (SmarterApproach® Methodology).
Along the way, I realised that I was a lone voice. As everyone else remained focused on using software technology to create more tools.
I was left with two choices:
– Abandon what I believe and follow the masses or,
– Stand up for what I believe and step into the limelight.
Speaking up for what I believe comes naturally to me. But stepping into the limelight does not! I am learning to embrace it all with the hope to attract other like-minded people.
People who see software technology not as a means to an end but as a science. A science that, just like any other, needs to be nourished to advance.
Be deliberate.
Demand a better future,
